ArcelorMittal Hunedoara is looking for an IT Manager for it's IT Department
The IT Manager will supervise the implementation and maintenance of the Company's computing needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage information technology and computer systems
- Coordinate closely with the IT central teams for implementations, upgrades, releases etc.
- Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
- Manage IT staff, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance
- Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures
- Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes
- Preserve assets, information security, and control structures
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
Required knowledge:
- Knowledge to design, building, and maintain applications
- Knowledge of the techniques, tools, services, and processes to design, build and maintain IT Infrastructure services that meet business requirements.
- Knowledge of how to convert business requests into technical requests/ IT solutions.
- Ability to manage IT systems, centering the focus on the customer’s perspective of IT’s contribution to the business.
- Project, Program management Knowledge
- Knowledge of principles, techniques, and processes to identify, design and maintain a compliant and secure environment that addresses key cyber-security risks
- Digital & Cloud knowledge
Required references
- Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and of computer hardware/software systems
- Expertise in data center management and data governance
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
- Ability to manage personnel
- Graduated in IT, Electrotechnics, or Mechanical engineering
- Good knowledge of English
