What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and own the Global Industry Segment strategy, providing strategic direction and collaborating with Industry Segment team members on all levels
- Own the Industry Segment specific product portfolio and value proposition, including global campaigns, collaborating closely with commercial leads to execute and live the strategy
- Support Regional/Market Area/Country commercial teams in critical customer meetings/projects, identifying customer needs and providing input for innovation
- Lead, coordinate, and track Industry Segment specific product launches based on best practices
- Be the knowledge expert and business development leader recognized by our customers, building select top-management customer relationships and being a team member in Global Account Teams
- Develop a Community to facilitate knowledge exchange and build deep industry & application knowledge, coordinating and building on the expertise of Commercial Excellence functions
- Foster the Corporate Culture and Values
- University degree in engineering and/or business administration (min 4-year degree, reputable university)
- Several years experience in an international commercial leadership role, incl. technical sales
- Experience leading global teams in an international collaborative business environment
- Experience working at a manufacturer or OEM within the Paper Industry (particularly segments like Board Converting, Paper Printing & Finishing)
- Deep understanding of strategic commercial management and technical sales
- Deep insights into customer needs and applications in the paper industry
- Strong internal & external service orientation and hands-on mentality
- Proactive drive towards automation of commercial processes
- High discipline and self-motivation
- Travel RequirementsWillingness to travel globally for a duration of 3 days, at least 30% of the time
